capsule collection

While studying abroad in Milan, Italy during the Spring of 2020, I researched fashion design methods and tactics. My colleagues and I attended various Fashion Week runway shows and created our own capsule collections for the upcoming season. The capsule I designed focused on celebrity styling, with 5 sections dedicated to various scenarios. Along with drawing the outfits, we studied materials and methods. The snapshots seen in this portfolio is part of a larger work inspired by the extensive research seen in the 2020 designer shows, Milan Trade Show, and fabric conventions.

This project took a total of months to complete. It began with the moodboard seen on the right. It is essential to have a vision and clear concept before pencil ever hit paper. My inspiration from Milan aided in my eventual celebrity designs. These colors, fabrics, and silhouettes were prominent to my overall vision.
